In late 2022 NorWest Community Health Centres in Thunder Bay, Ontario began using Amplifi ID as part of their supervised consumption site's harm reduction services. A Bulk Scan of an orange tablet, sold as MDMA, showed that it was impure due to caffeine presence. A Trace Scan was then conducted, which identified small amounts of methamphetamine. This is how drug checking with Amplifi ID can help you and your community be better informed.
